I went on a working field trip to Calico Ghost Town on the 17th. It was great spending the day with other photographers; discussing all things photographic and trying new things. Here's a collection of images from the day. Enjoy!

Many, many, many thanks to Rachel for her hard work on my logo! This is the first unveiling and it will be seen soon on my new website as well.

This is the year of new! I've already got the new blog, and now I'm getting a new logo, a new website AND a new computer. My new computer promises to be FAST and BIG. The new box is in my office and is in the process of being loaded up with software and files.

So, please bear with me and pardon any down time I may be experiencing trying to get all of these fabulous new things working and talking to each other.

Have you been wondering what that snazzy orange thingy that says "RSS" is for? I just found out!!

It's a tool that allows an "RSS Reader" to find out when a website/blog/etc. has been updated. If you subscribe to the RSS feed on a site, your reader will notify you when that site has updated content. So if you don't want to keep checking a website, and only visit when there's new content, subscribe to the RSS feed. IE7, Google, and Firefox all have readers you can use right now. I'm sure there's more readers out there and a web search will help you find them.

So give it a try! It's easy!

I had the extreme pleasure of photographing Nadika and Channa's wedding on January 27th. In spite of a turn in the weather, forcing a last-minute move of the ceremony inside, the wedding was beautiful! Nadika and Channa are a fabulous couple and incredibly fun to work with.
