I had a lot of fun photographing bride-to-be Beth during a top secret Fire and Spice portrait session. The session took place in Long Beach, in a lovely home with fabulous window light. Photographs from the session will be custom designed into a special book as a gift for her fiancé, which Beth plans to give him on their wedding day. I'm thinking he's really going to like it. Remember though, sshhh! it's a secret!

During the week of January 13-18, 2008, I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph the Next Generation Bioscience Leaders, Executive Education for Women in the Life Science Industry, held in Claremont, California. The event was sponsored by Keck Graduate Institute and Smith College. This forum was the first of it's kind and was designed to provide women managers the opportunity to learn from and network with executives in the pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnoloy industries.

The Welcome Reception and Dinner was held at Casa 425, a stylish, boutique hotel in historic Claremont Village, California.

Wow! What a day!

We were very fortunate to acquire booth space at the Annual Wedding Expo 2008 held at the Irvine Marriott on January 6th. Even though it was a cold and rainy day, the turnout was great!

We met a lot of wonderful brides, beautiful moms, sisters and friends, and fabulous couples. We handed out some jelly beans (can you guess the flavors?!?) and really enjoyed sharing our photography.

We also had a chance to meet to some really great local vendors, and we're really looking forward to next year!

December of 2007 was a whirlwind of a month! We found out the first week of December that we would be participating in our first ever Bridal Show on January 6th. Great news! Except we were nowhere near ready! With the holidays coming up and LOTS of work to do, the month flew by.

But the new and improved website is done(!) and the bridal show was a success (stay tuned!).

So even though it is incredibly belated, we hope your holidays were joyful and the new year brings you health, happiness, propsperity and much love!
