Heidelberg

We arrived in Heidelberg fairly late in the afternoon. We had dinner plans shortly after our arrival, so we went for a short walk before dinner, a longer walk in the rain after dinner (sans cameras!!) and early the following morning we went to Heidelberg Castle.

Our evening walk yielded one interesting surprise; I happened to spy the eyepiece to a camera. It looked oddly familiar, so I picked it up. Turns out, it had detached itself from Ron's camera and he hadn't noticed! Good thing we got it back!

Our morning trip to the castle was early, and the light was pretty flat until the sun broke through the clouds. This was to be the main theme of our vacation though!

We posted a few Heidelberg favorites below, and the rest can be seen in the Showroom.

Enjoy!

Joe and Jill

Once again, I had the pleasure of working with Robert Mullins for Joe and Jill's wedding. The wedding was held at Dove Canyon Country Club on a beautiful but blustery Sunday in October.

I posted a few of my favorties below.

Enjoy!

Kölner Dom and the Rhine

Continuing the saga of our Euro trip, we left Amsterdam early in the morning and headed to Heidelberg. Along the way, we stopped in Köln and visited the Dom (Cathedral). We climbed the spires (all 509 steps!) and while it was good exercise, the views were only mildly stunning. All open areas are covered in mesh (so you can't fall?), so while we felt safe, our views were quite restricted. Surprisingly, the top was almost completely covered in graffiti. The cathedral is stunningly beautiful, and we were fortunate to be there when the sun was streaming through the stained glass windows, giving us a dazzling display of kaleidescope colors on the cathedral walls.

Next was a short cruise along the Rhine. It was great fun and the views were incredible. The late afternoon was quite cloudy, but when the sun made an appearance, the light was fabulous!

We posted a few of our favorites below, and more can be seen in the Showroom.

Enjoy!
