We love comments!

BUT ... they are temporarily broken!  As part of the blog control panel upgrade, something got a little mixed up in the ether and the comments fields aren't working properly right now.

Stay tuned, and check back often.  Because we really do love comments!

Rachel + Jason | Portland, Oregon

Rachel and Jason were married in Downtown Portland on September 20th in The Old Church, built in 1883 in the Gothic style.  After the ceremony, Rachel and Jason were showered with bubbles as they headed for a red sorta kinda rickshaw for a quick and private ride around downtown.  Next up was a walk through the downtown area and Pioneer Square, then we all headed off to the reception at Ernesto's Italian Restaurant.

Red was the color of the day; Rachel wore a white dress with a red sash and red shoes, she carried a bouquet of red roses accented with white calla lilies and she carried a red purse!  Red was a perfect, eye-popping color for an otherwise gray day (that was supposed to be sunny, but this was Portland!).

We posted a few of our favorite images from the day in the collage below.  Well, okay, a few more than usual!  Enjoy!

Evette + Eric | Nixon Library, Yorba Linda

Evette and Eric were married on September 7th at the beautiful and elegant Nixon Library in Yorba Linda.  The wedding was held in the Rose Garden in the late afternoon and the reception was held in the East Room.  Eric absolutely beamed when he saw Evette walk down the aisle with her father!

Evette surprised Eric by changing into a stunning white evening gown for the reception, and Evette and Eric surprised all of their guests with a very different first dance that included some tradition, some salsa, some comdey and some drama!

It was truly an elegant affair with beautiful food, a gorgeous cake with a LOT of flowers, great music and dancing and fabulous friends and family.  We posted a few favorites in the collage below.  Enjoy!

Matt + Lacey | Churon Winery:Temecula

The Inn at Churon Winery was the beautiful backdrop for Matt and Lacey's wedding on August 31st. The outdoor ceremony was held at the gazebo overlooking the rolling hills and vineyards of Temecula while the reception took place in the inn and adjacent terrace.

If you're looking for a great place to have a wedding, consider Churon Winery. The food is wonderful, the estate is beautiful and judging by all the fun and laughter and joy, we're guessing the wine was pretty good too!

Matt and Lacy were a very fun and expressive couple and we really enjoyed photographing their day. We posted a few favorites in the collage below. Enjoy!

Celine + Syavosh | Crystal Cove : Laguna Beach

It's true, the best things come in small packages! This was the smallest wedding we've photograhed yet, but it was one of the loveliest!

Celine and Syavosh had a very small and intimate beach wedding on August 23rd. The ceremony was held on the bluffs overlooking Treasure Cove at Crystal Cove State Park near Laguna Beach. It was a fantastically gorgeous day, with clear blue skies and a cool ocean breeze. They were accompanied by some of their closest friends and family, and for those who couldn't attend, Celine and Syavosh each read letters and cards full of love and wishes for their wedding and marriage.

After the ceremony we went down on the sand for some fun and portraits, then Celine and Syavosh hosted a reception at their home in Irvine.

We posted a few of our favorite photos in the collage below. Enjoy!

Kirilynn + Danny | Cabo San Lucas

We had the pleasure of mixing business with pleasure when we photographed the wedding of Kirilynn & Danny in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on August 19th.

Kirilynn and Danny had a week-long wedding celebration that started a few days before the wedding. They cruised from Los Angeles to Cabo San Lucas, disembarked for the wedding, then set sail again in the evening to continue the cruise and celebration!

Their beach wedding was held at the Playa Grande Resort with a reception immediately following at poolside. Or rather, in the pool! It was incredibly hot that day, so the bride and groom and most of their guests donned bathing suits and continued the celebration in the pool!

We posted a few of our favorite photos from the day in the collage below. Enjoy!

Kris + Chris | Coyote Hills : Fullerton

Coyote Hills Country Club was the stage for Kris and Chris' wedding on August 15th. It was a beautiful, balmy evening for their outdoor wedding. Their reception was held in the Clubhouse Ballroom.

Kris was an incredibly fun bride with a fabulous sense of humor and she was very proud of her purple shoes!

Dwight + Jen | Knott's : Buena Park

Dwight and Jen were married at the Knott's Berry Farm Resort Hotel in Buena Park on August 9th. The wedding was held in the garden courtyard and the reception was in the 8th floor Grand Ballroom with great views of the park!

Dwight has been a lifelong Snoopy fan, so there were elements of the Peanuts Gang incorporated into a very elegant affair! There was a real life Peppermint Patty in the wedding party, an incredible candy bar that didn't last long and a visit by Snoopy that was a highlight for the kidlets!

We're Still Here!

Wow! Our last post was at the end of July. We didn't fall off the face of the earth though. We've just been VERY busy!

"Doing what?", you might ask.

Well, wedding season was and still is in full swing, but it wasn't enough to be photographing lots of weddings and boudoir sessions. No. We needed MORE to do.

So we opened a studio! We're really excited about moving our business out of our house and into it's own home. Our studio is located in Anaheim, in a very nice and centrally located shopping center. The address is:

3474-B Orangethorpe Avenue, Anaheim, 92806.

We are thrilled to have a fabulous meeting place for our clients, a gallery to show off our work and a shooting area, complete with it's own dressing room! And the drapes allow us to make the shooting area private - our Boudoir clients love it!

It's been fantastically exciting and mind-numbingly tiring, but we survived the process and kept up with all of our photography work. Only the blog suffered! But we have a short breather so I'm catching up. I posted a few before and after images of our studio, and I'll be catching up on the other work we've been doing too. Stay tuned for more photos!
