Coyote Hills Country Club was the stage for Kris and Chris' wedding on August 15th. It was a beautiful, balmy evening for their outdoor wedding. Their reception was held in the Clubhouse Ballroom.

Kris was an incredibly fun bride with a fabulous sense of humor and she was very proud of her purple shoes!

Dwight and Jen were married at the Knott's Berry Farm Resort Hotel in Buena Park on August 9th. The wedding was held in the garden courtyard and the reception was in the 8th floor Grand Ballroom with great views of the park!

Dwight has been a lifelong Snoopy fan, so there were elements of the Peanuts Gang incorporated into a very elegant affair! There was a real life Peppermint Patty in the wedding party, an incredible candy bar that didn't last long and a visit by Snoopy that was a highlight for the kidlets!

Wow! Our last post was at the end of July. We didn't fall off the face of the earth though. We've just been VERY busy!

"Doing what?", you might ask.

Well, wedding season was and still is in full swing, but it wasn't enough to be photographing lots of weddings and boudoir sessions. No. We needed MORE to do.

So we opened a studio! We're really excited about moving our business out of our house and into it's own home. Our studio is located in Anaheim, in a very nice and centrally located shopping center. The address is:

3474-B Orangethorpe Avenue, Anaheim, 92806.

We are thrilled to have a fabulous meeting place for our clients, a gallery to show off our work and a shooting area, complete with it's own dressing room! And the drapes allow us to make the shooting area private - our Boudoir clients love it!

It's been fantastically exciting and mind-numbingly tiring, but we survived the process and kept up with all of our photography work. Only the blog suffered! But we have a short breather so I'm catching up. I posted a few before and after images of our studio, and I'll be catching up on the other work we've been doing too. Stay tuned for more photos!

The day started with Victoria hanging on for dear life as her best friends and bridesmaids buttoned her dress (tiny loops and no crochet hook in sight)!

Then William and Victoria were married on the Waterfall Patio at The Vineyards in Simi Valley. The weather was perfect for their July 26 wedding, with lots of sunshine and cool breezes. Their reception was held in the Grand View Room, overlooking the valley and mountains.

William and Victoria are a great couple, and tons of fun too! There were lots of laughs, and a very animated first dance!

STILL catching up on blog posts!

We had a blast photographing Jeff & Julie's engagement session on July 20th. We left Newport Harbor early in the morning on the Catalina Flyer - it was cool and cloudy in Newport. But 26 miles across the sea, the weather was warm and sunny!

We spent the day in Avalon, a place that is near and dear to both Jeff and Julie. They spent a lot of time there when they were growing up, and it's where they met. It was great having them as tour guides as they both know a lot about the island and it's history.

We toodled around in a golf cart - tres fun! Except when Jeff wasn't looking where he was going! Gack! We had a jam-packed day full of touring and photographing and laughing and goofing off.

Anne and Matt were married on July 12th at the beautiful Torrey Pines Christian Church in La Jolla and their reception was held at the very cool and stylish Museum of Contemporary Art, also in La Jolla.

There were a lot of special moments during the day, like the anticipation of waiting outside the chapel just before the ceremony, taking photographs on the crowded bluffs in La Jolla, and the "guys" singing "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling" to Anne!

I'm catching up on blog posts - it's been a busy month! Amanda and Kevin were married at Chapman Chapel in Orange on July 11th. The chapel was extra special for Kevin and Amanda because Kevin's parents were married there 25 years ago!

The reception was held at a relative's estate in Santa Ana and it was perfect for a balmy summer evening. I had the pleasure of working with Rustin Cerveny, a photographer and soon-to-be-dad from L.A.

'Tis the season for gorgeous beach weddings! Wai Yee and Nate were married on July 5th at the charming Enchanted Sea Cottage in Malibu. Their intimate wedding was held on the bluffs overlooking the sparkling blue Pacific Ocean (I'm having deja vu all over again...).

Wai Yee wore a beautiful organza gown and Nate wore a snappy stand-up collar tuxedo. White roses and lilies accompanied by blue hydrangeas were perfect for a warm summer day.

The reception and celebration was held in the courtyard which was surrounded by gardens filled to the brim with flowers. And of course, there was a fabulous sunset!
