Have you been wondering what that snazzy orange thingy that says "RSS" is for? I just found out!!
It's a tool that allows an "RSS Reader" to find out when a website/blog/etc. has been updated. If you subscribe to the RSS feed on a site, your reader will notify you when that site has updated content. So if you don't want to keep checking a website, and only visit when there's new content, subscribe to the RSS feed. IE7, Google, and Firefox all have readers you can use right now. I'm sure there's more readers out there and a web search will help you find them.
